The former CPB Immobilientreuhand - after the management-buy-out by CEO Michael Ehlmaier -  now faces the markets's challenges carrying a new brand name: EHL Immobilien. "We are aware of the fact that the brand CPB was already well positioned, therefore we decided rather for an improvement of the actual corporate design", states Ehlmaier, who since the beginning of 2009 holds the company's share once owned by the Constantia Privatbank and Constantia Packaging B.V.

During a press conference at the Haas-Haus right in the heart of Vienna, Ehlmaier and his managing directors were proud of the fact, that now for the first time the former CPB is able to present itself as an independet company led by the owner.

The company structure

Well positioned branches

"EHL Immobilien presents itself not only as a real estate agent but also as a consulter for its clients, offering advice during real estate transactions", states Wolfgang Scheibenpflug, managing director of the EHL Business real esate, an essential part of the company ( beeing market leader in Austria).

In the CEE-Region EHL wants to work against the current trends, holding plans to raise the number of employees in the region by 20%, with the "actual crisis rather helping in doing so" as confirms Ehlmaier.

Also the investment branch looks into a bright future. With prices having undergone significant corrections, objects are becoming interesting again for investors, declares Franz Pöltl, managing director of EHL Investment Consulting.

New appearance AND permanence

For its clients EHL Immobilien wants to offer the same consistency that has been appreciated ever since, emphazising the fact that the employee turnover has been - and will be - very low - an uncommon element in the real estate business.

Considering the new market appearance EHL decided for a rather soft relaunch. The already well-known company logo remains (with only the three letters changing). By the first of July the 160 bills and posters in the area in and around Vienna will be exchanged according to the new appearance.
